Amanda Lindberg B.Sc. (1999), B.A.(2003) LL.B (2006)
Amanda received her B.Sc. (1999) and her B.A. (2003) from the University of Alberta before attending law school and graduating with an LL.B. in 2006. Amanda articled and subsequently practiced in Edmonton. Amanda joined Mainstreet in March 2016.
Amanda is an experience and compassionate lawyer who represents individuals and companies in a wide variety of litigation matters including construction, corporate, employment, family and personal injury matters. She also has experience with estate and real estate litigation.
Amanda has experience all three levels of court and has trial experience in Provincial Court and Court of Queen’s Bench.
APPROACH TO LAW
Amanda’s goal is to effectively resolve each matter, preferably through negotiation and settlement. When an out-of-court resolution cannot be achieved, Amanda has years of experience in litigation. Amanda believes that each client is important regardless of the nature of their issue. She strives to respond to her clients’ questions promptly and thoroughly. She wants to be her client’s trusted advisor.
ASSOCIATIONS AND INTERESTS
Amanda has been a member of the Canadian Bar Association since her law school days and currently sits on Council for the Alberta Branch. She is also the Provincial Chair for Law Day. Amanda is an instructor for CPLED, the bar admission course, teaching Professional Ethics and litigation focused modules. Amanda is also a member of the Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association.
Amanda sits as Vice-Chair on the Board of Directors for Norwood Family and Child Resources Services.
