- She approaches her work with compassion and efficiency, offering thoughtful support while ensuring clients’ needs are handled with professionalism and care.
Samantha Porter
- Sam joined Main Street Law LLP in November 2025 as Reception, where she enjoys welcoming clients and keeping the office running smoothly.
- Before joining the firm, Sam spent 26 years at Calahoo Meats, gaining experience in Sales, Office Management, and Business Development.
- She loves connecting with people, helping wherever she can, and making everyone feel at ease. With her warmth, organization, and positive attitude,
Sam brings a personal touch to every interaction.
- Outside of work, Sam enjoys golfing, adventures, travel, and spending time with her husband, grandbabies, family, and friends.
Abby Ralph
- Abby graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Criminology in 2023. She began her career working in nonprofits, as a caseworker in domestic violence court support.
- Through her schooling she worked in the restaurant industry for 4 + years
- She became a Legal Admin at an Edmonton firm in February 2025 and joined Mainstreet Law as a Legal Assistant in September 2025.
- She assists Micia Kawulka in Family Law and enjoys being a part of a compassionate, professional, and supportive team.
Amy Prak
- Amy has been working in real estate since 2006 and brings nearly two decades of industry experience.
- After taking an extended leave to focus on raising her children, she has returned to the profession part-time with renewed energy and perspective.
- Outside of work, Amy enjoys staying active and traveling with her family, embracing opportunities to create meaningful experiences both personally and professionally.
Arshdeep Gill
- Arsh graduated from VCC in 2023.
- She joined Main Street Law in June of 2025 and assists in Real Estate and Corporate and Commercial.
- Outside of work, Arsh enjoys reading, travelling, retail therapy, being outdoors, and spending time with her family & friends.
Jade Fortune

- Jade joined the Main Street Law LLP team in January of 2025, bringing administrative and client service experience to support both the team and clients. She is excited to start her career in the legal field and looks forward to growing and progressing within the firm.
- She previously worked at a chiropractic and physiotherapy clinic for 2 years, where she supported staff and patients in a fast-paced environment.
- Outside of work, Jade lives on a farm and helps care for the calves during calving season. She also enjoys spending time with family, gardening, and making homemade foods, especially sourdough.
Patricia Bischler

- Pat began her legal career in 1980 and has since worked in various areas of law, including Litigation, Corporate Commercial/Tax Law, Wills and Estates, Commercial Litigation, Personal Injury, Foreclosures and Collections.
- Pat joined Main Street Law in September 2024 and works alongside Brett Phillips.
- In her personal time, she enjoys spending time with her children, granddaughter, and other family and friends, reading, loves to cook and bake and spending time with her cats.
Maggie Hammond
- Maggie joined the Main Street Law LLP team in November of 2025 as an Administrative Assistant.
- She previously worked in pharmaceutical research, then stayed home to raise her 3 children. Upon deciding to return to the workforce, she worked in a law office in Ontario.
- Graduated from University of Western Ontario with Honors Bachelor of Health Sciences.
- She enjoys working with the staff at Main Streel Law and is looking forward to growing and progressing within the firm.
- When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, kids and 2 beagles.

- Taylor graduated from Bow Valley College in 2018.

- She began working as a Legal Assistant at a firm in Edmonton where she provided support to three lawyers.

- Prior to working as a Legal Assistant, Taylor was working at the YMCA as an Aquatics Supervisor

- She then joined the Main Street Law LLP team in June 2024, working in the Personal Injury practice area, assisting Kendal V. T. Power.
Chloe Campbell
- Chloe graduated from MacEwan University with a Paralegal Diploma in 2022, after which she combined with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree majoring in Legal Studies and minoring in Political Science, graduating again in 2024.
- During school and prior to working at Main Street Law, she worked at Legal Aid Alberta, assisting clients in various areas of law.
- In her spare time, Chloe enjoys reading, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
Cora-Lynn Wolfe
- Cora-Lynn graduated from MacEwan University with a business management diploma in 2021, then shortly after returned to school for Legal Assisting, graduating in 2022.
- She enjoys skiing and hiking outside work, but most of Cora-Lynn’s free time is spent with her family.
Laura Glew
- Laura has worked as a legal assistant for most of her career, dating back to 2000.
- She has previous work experience in the areas of Family Law, Child Welfare and Litigation. However, Laura’s primary interest lies in the Real Estate market, and thus she geared the focus of her career toward conveyancing.
- She enjoys working with people and assisting them through one of the most important transactions they have in their lives.
- In her personal time, Laura enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading a good book, and the great outdoors.
Faith Werning (on leave)
- Faith began her legal career in 2011 and has since worked in various areas of law, including Family Law, Civil Litigation, Foreclosures and Collections, and Real Estate.
- Faith joined Main Street Law in February 2021 and works alongside Alan Dockrill and Roberto Navarro. In addition to assisting her 2 lawyers, she processes all new client intake.
- Faith enjoys helping individuals with their legal needs and talking with clients to assist with all she can.
- Faith has lived in the Parkland County area since 2014 and has an acreage west of Stony Plain.
- In her free time, she enjoys family time, camping, hiking and unwinding with a glass of wine.
Jennifer Bruner
- Jennifer graduated from the Red Deer College Legal Assistant Diploma program in 2002.
- She worked in law offices in Brooks, Spruce Grove, Drayton Valley, and Edmonton. She joined our Main Street Law LLP team in September 2022.
- She has worked in several areas of law, including Civil Litigation, Wills and Estates, Corporate and Commercial, and Matrimonial.
- Jennifer assists Matthew Stewart and Patrick Hopf.
- Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys reading, sewing, gardening, and spending time with her cats, family, and friends.
Donna Armstrong
- Donna started with Main Street Law LLP in January of 2017. She has specialized in the area of Family Law for the past 20+ years, and after a brief retirement in Mexico, Donna decided to return to work in May of 2023.
- Pivoting from the area of Family Law, Donna began a new adventure in the Wills and Estates department assisting Daylen Lafleur, which she has been enjoying.
- Her hobbies include traveling, retail therapy, weightlifting, living an active and healthy lifestyle, and spending time with her parents, children, grandson, and other family and friends.
Carey Whistance-Smith
• Carey joined Main Street Law LLP in 2023 as a Receptionist in the Drayton Valley office.
• Having worked in a library setting for 17 years, Carey looks forward to applying her skills in customer service to the clients of Main Street Law.
• When not at work, Carey enthusiastically gardens and helps with her home renovations. Her family and her dog, Frank, are the lights in her life.
Emily Androschuk
- Emily started her role as a receptionist with Main Street Law LLP in early 2023 with over 10 years in the customer service industry doing various jobs such as theatre management, data entry & accounts receivable.
- Emily strives to provide a warm, welcoming environment for all clients who cross her path.
- In her free time Emily enjoys camping, gardening, reading & game nights with friends.
Sarah Schumacher
- Sarah graduated from the Paralegal Studies program at MacEwan University in 2020.
- Shortly after graduating, she began working as a Legal Assistant at a small family law firm in Edmonton where she provided support to two lawyers and assisted with office management.
- Sarah joined Main Street Law LLP in January 2023 and assists Associate Michael Thomas in the practice areas of Wills and Estates and Corporate/Commercial.
Nicole Woods
- Before coming to work at Main Street Law LLP in 2014, Nicole worked in the banking industry for 10 years.
- Nicole is the Assistant Office Manager and provides support in the practice area of Corporate Law.
Carole Watson
- Carole graduated from Bredin College Legal Assistant Diploma Program in 2021. She completed her practicum in Wills and Estates, Criminal, Corporate, and Civil Litigation.
- She joined Main Street Law in 2022 and assists Associate Eva Forys in the practice areas of Wills and Estates and Corporate/Commercial. She enjoys working with the staff and clients of Main Street Law.
Brittany Boehler
- Brittany joined Main Street Law LLP in January 2016.
- Upon entering the firm, she worked in reception and assisted with administrative tasks. now works strictly in the accounting department keeping the books and providing assistance to the Office Manager.
Shandel Parsons
- Shandel moved to Spruce Grove in 1997 and presently resides in Stony Plain.
- Prior to graduating from an Office Professional program at Campbell College in 2020, she taught yoga in the community and worked in the office of her family’s refrigeration business for over a decade.
- Shandel works as an Administrative Assistant at Main Street Law and enjoys the steady flow of assisting all those who call or come into the office.
- Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and dog, and exploring all nature has to offer.
Vanessa Coulson
- Vanessa worked as a real estate assistant to a licensed agent for a year, followed by 8 years as an executive assistant to a CEO.
- She recently joined Main Street Law as a real estate conveyancer and takes pride in helping those with the buying and selling process.
- In her spare time, Vanessa enjoys being with her family and exploring the outdoors.
- Vanessa is eager to meet new clients and is excited to provide a welcoming environment.
Twila Lindsay
- Twila has been working in the legal industry since 1993.
- Twila joined Main Street Law LLP in 2009. Twila provides legal assistance to Joshua Allen in the practice area of Wills & Estates.
Kelsey Kelsch
- Kelsey started her career in 2013 as a receptionist in an Edmonton law firm and decided to become a Legal Assistant shortly thereafter. She graduated from college in 2014 and has been working as a Legal Assistant since then.
- Kelsey joined Main Street Law LLP in October 2017 and assists Tarryn Klapper in the practice areas of Personal Injury and General Civil Litigation.
Melanie Hudson
- Melanie has returned to working in the legal industry after completing her education in 2018.
- In addition to legal experience, she had previously worked in construction and land development administration.
- Melanie is currently working as a real estate conveyancer.
Lisa Goebel
- Before joining Main Street Law, Lisa worked as a Registered Nurse in the areas of maternity, surgical, and acute care. After a loss in her family, she stayed home to raise her children.
- Lisa has always had an interest in the legal field and joined Main Street Law LLP in 2022 for a change in career path.
- She assists with administrative tasks, reception coverage, and does the Accounts Receivable & Retainer Management for the firm.
- Lisa really enjoys working with the team at Main Street and regularly works towards expanding her knowledge so she can better assist those around her.

Shelly has worked in the legal debt collection industry for the past 2 decades.
- She joined the Main Street Law LLP team in August 2024 as a Legal Assistant for both Personal Injury and Civil Litigation law, specializing in Enforcement Procedures.
- Outside of work, she finds her relaxation by quilting, gardening, reading and enjoys any free time she has outdoors with her dog.
Laura Dear
Laura is the Office Manager and has worked with Partner Frank DeAngelis since 1994. She oversees the accounting department and can also provide support in the practice areas of Civil Litigation, Collections, Real Estate, and commercial financing transactions.
Kimberley Roberts
- Kimberley graduated from the Legal Assistant program at Douglas College in BC in 2006. She spent the first 16 years of her career in large Vancouver law firms, working primarily in insurance law and commercial litigation.
- In 2022, she transitioned into the business sector, accepting a leadership position with a U.S. based digital education and marketing company, where she managed and mentored a team of over 100 and supported thousands of clients for a multi-million-dollar organization.
- After relocating with her family to Spruce Grove, Kimberley chose to merge her strengths in business and law and joined the Corporate department at Main Street Law LLP in July 2025.
- Kimberley is passionate about helping and empowering others and brings a strong blend of legal, operational, and client-focused experience to her role.
