Throughout her studies, Haley was an active member of the community, serving as Secretary of the MacEwan Rotaract Club, President of the FentaNIL Project of MacEwan University, and volunteering with Student Legal Services’ Criminal Law Project. Haley’s involvement in her community is largely motivated by her commitment to access to justice and assisting disadvantaged populations.

Haley continues to volunteer her time with the University of Alberta Faculty of Law Competitive Moot program, serving as a practice judge to assist law students in developing their oral advocacy skills. Haley is also a proud monthly donor for Doctors Without Borders and registered donor with Canadian Blood Services, donating blood, plasma, and stem cells when possible.

Bio

Haley joined Main Street Law as a summer law student in 2024 and returned in 2025 for her articles after completing her Juris Doctor degree at the University of Alberta. During law school, Haley was selected for upper year moot competitions in Toronto, Ontario. In 2024, Haley competed in the Julius Alexander Isaac moot and the Harold G. Fox Intellectual Property Law moot in 2025. These competitions allowed Haley to gain valuable experience in oral advocacy and appellate level persuasion.

Haley is currently assisting Main Street Law LLPs clients with a variety of legal concerns, including civil litigation, landlord and tenant matters, and legal research; as well as assisting other Main Street Law LLP lawyers with support services on larger matters.

Haley approaches legal problems with a calm, thoughtful, and client-centered mindset. She is committed to ensuring clients feel informed, supported, and prepared at every stage of the process, particularly during stressful or uncertain moments. Drawing on her background in psychology, Haley places a strong emphasis on clear communication, emotional intelligence, and practical guidance, while remaining strategic and focused on achieving effective Results.

Education

Haley received her Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree from MacEwan University in 2022. She completed her honours degree in psychology, where she studied the perception of handwriting and created a first of its kind research study.
